Junior Lotus Racing fought through a tough race at Hockenheim today as the Formula Renault 3.5 Series reconvened after its two-month summer break.During the qualifications, Nelson Panciatici put his car into a top-10 grid position, but an accident put him out on the first lap of the race.

10/06/2010 - Nelson Panciatici score points in Brno

Nelson Panciatici scored solid points for Junior Lotus Racing as the Formula Renault 3.5 Series made its first ever visit to Brno in the Czech Republic last weekend. The 21-year-old Frenchman made up several places in the first race to claim 13th, and strongly secured eighth in race 2 after a gutsy drive, which saw him defend superbly in the closing stages.

Qualifying on Saturday morning for race 1 was disrupted by a red flag, meaning drivers lost their last two minutes of running and ended the Junior Lotus Racing team’s attempt to put in quick laps at the end. 20/05/2010 - Nelson Panciatici like happiness in Monaco

From the very first action on the streets of Monaco, Nelson Panciatici felt confident behind the wheel of Junior Lotus Racing’s Formula Renault 3.5 Series car and produced a performance that saw him challenge for pole position during Saturday morning’s qualifying session.

Qualification is crucial at Monaco, as the order on the starting grid often decides the final classification at the end of the race, but finding a gap in traffic is notoriously difficult. The Formula Renault 3.5 Series was therefore split into two groups, with Panciatici topping his for much of the session until a succession of yellow flags, followed by a red, prevented him from capitalising on his second fresh set of tyres and dropped him down the order.
